Team

This project is a partnership between the Memorial Art Gallery and the Digital Media Studies Program of the University of Rochester. The Digital Media Studies Program is taking on all technical aspects of this project, including the purchasing of equipment, development of 3D models of the artwork in the gallery and technical training of museum staff. The Memorial Art Gallery ensures that lesson plans are shared, and accessible and curriculum goals are met for students in the RCDS program.

Stephanie Ashenfelder, faculty lead, University of Rochester

Stephanie’s has an advisor role as part of this project. She is taking an active role with the client (NYU, Verizon) to clarify the team’s deliverables and timelines while ensuring that communication is clear and the timeline is accurate. She helps team project leads shape their goals and craft purposeful next steps. When issues arise, Stephanie works with the client and the Memorial Art Gallery to devise tangible solutions.

Dr. Nile Blunt, faculty lead, Memorial Art Gallery

Dr. Blunt is taking on a role as spokesperson of this project and MAG liaison. Dr. Blunt will tell the story of this project.

Sydney Greaves, educator, Memorial Art Gallery

Sydney is responsible for museum education providing the curriculum content and context. 

Gevher Eylul Karboga, team project lead, University of Rochester

Team project leads attend Verizon & NYU meetings together with Stephanie, create project plans and progress reports. They create 3D models for lesson plans and distribute work to other team members. Project leads ensure all deliverables are completed and uploaded to the Verizon portal on time and along with Stephanie manage expectations from the client. Project leads will lead staff trainings at the Memorial Art Gallery and propose solutions regarding the distribution and recharging of the iPads.

Bradley Martin, technical support, University of Rochester

Tech Support responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults, resolving technical issues, and installing and configuring hardware and software on ipads.
